Landline is an etched glass series honoring my mother and the small, unconscious art she made while talking on the phone. The etchings mimic the doodles she left behind on the notepad by the kitchen phone. Little loops, flowers, and shapes drawn without a second thought while she chatted with friends and family. They're a quiet record of a busy, engaged mind, present in conversation even as her hand wandered on its own. This series is a tribute to that restless creativity, translating something so ordinary into something permanent.
