These glasses are a nod to traditional Czech textured cocktail cups.  Their colorful rims are one way you can tell it is a hand made glass; machines cannot manufacture glass with a separate band of glass color around the rim.  Most machine made glass will use an enamel and paint the lips of their cups.  *Neat fact alert!*
